7. Thanos Woos Hela

Though we've been told to expect Thor: Ragnarok to be a stand-alone more recently, in the earlier stages of production the mantra was that it was actually the last, biggest step on the road to Infinity War (with Black Panther more of a stand-alone).

That made it seem likely that we'd get to see some link to the Infinity Stones at least, but the more compelling idea is that villain Hela will take the place of Lady Death from the Infinity Saga on the page. She would become the object of Thanos' affection, and who he wants to impress with his show of power with the Gauntlet.

That would be particularly surprising, given that Marvel doesn't have much precedent in using villains across multiple movies in substantial ways. They're either killed off in their debut or at the start of their next movie (unless they're Loki), so the smart money would be on Hela going the same way.
