1. Matt Damon Turns Up

The single most exciting and simultaneously silly rumour around Thor: Ragnarok is that Matt Damon might be set to turn up in a so-far secret cameo, playing an actor playing Thor in an in-film look back at the events of Thor and The Dark World.

If that is true - and it's not as big an if as it initially appeared - it has the potential to be both hilarious and completely shocking, and that would definitely fit what some of the early reviews have teased. Plus, what a huge boon for theMCU to cast such a prestigious actor in a tiny role.

Damon has also stoked the fires of rumour too by turning up on Jimmy Kimmel Live and crashing Chris Hemsworth's interview, so there's definitely a reason to believe it.
