15. The Fall Of The Valkyrior

As part of the flash-back we've already seen, it looks like we'll see the fall of the Valkyrior. So perhaps the mountainous location is actually Valhalla?

There's also a hint of a more traditional Valkyrie look - she wore a blue cape in the comics, and she seems to be also while falling out of the sky here...

In the comics, Valkyrie led the Valkyrior, warriors who rode winged horses and who took the mortally wounded Earth heroes to Valhalla until Odin limited the contact Asgard made with Earth permanently. After that, she sought some new purpose, going on adventures - which we probably won't see.

This is definitely a flash-back leading into Odin defeating and imprisoning Hela. Clearly the Valkyrie were a major casualty of that battle - and the remnants, for some reason, weren't allowed to stay in Asgard. Perhaps Valkyrie herself feels betrayed by the Asgardians for not saving her fellow Valkyrior? Or maybe Odin did make them all redundant?

You'd have to bet that their shared issues with Hela will be what unites them in the fight against her.
