1. Surtur
At first I was torn regarding Surtur - I thought that Malekith, Kurse and the Dark Elves would be more than enough evil for one film. But then I thought 'it's Surtur for heaven's sake' and I changed my mind. Because Surtur is awesome. Surtur is the ruler of one of the nine realms - the demon realm known as Muspelheim - and is an enormously powerful fire elemental whose powers include incredible super-strength and durability, massive amounts of mystical/magical power, immortality and the ability to wield Twilight, the sword of doom, a weapon capable of destroying galaxies. Surtur could serve the same role that Thanos served in the Avengers movie - as the massively powerful entity who is masterminding the events of the film, only to find himself having to get his hands dirty in later movies after the inevitable failure of his minions. One thing is for certain, if Surtur does ever appear in a live action Marvel movie, he will look absolutely amazing using modern CGI and would be a fanboy's dream to witness.
