Thor: The Dark World - 5 Awesome Elements It Nailed (And 1 That Failed)

5. A Nice Boost In Humour

Thor Dark World One of the most impressive features in Marvel's Cinematic Universe is its approach at smart, witty humour. The funniest of moments often occur with surprise, and the best are some of the greatest moments in the film. The Dark World, although the title suggests a darker story than before, still falls back on the same usage of humour as before, using some pretty smart and wise choices that are sure to get the fans busting their guts all over again. From the hilarious yet bizarre segment of Dr. Erik Selvig running around Stonehenge butt-naked to Darcy applying her much-less annoying quips, even to Loki's grand return to his humorous side, all the funny moments live up to the laughs. The one that got to everyone was the brief yet satisfying cameo appearance by one of Thor's heroic teammates, which will be brought into detail later on. That moment alone was enough for The Dark World to be a worthy successor to The Avengers.
