3. Earth Is In Mortal Danger... Again
We already knew that all nine realms - including Midgard (Earth) - were going to be
at risk in this movie. However, the trailer confirms that Earth isn't just at risk, it is actually the scene of a pretty large scale disaster. The above scene shows a large black mass of some description ploughing in to the Earth's surface, causing destruction and chaos in what appears to be England (an assumption reinforced by later shots of British police cars). Thor is then shown transporting Jane Foster to Asgard, presumably with the intention of taking her there to safeguard her (not that it appears to work, going by what we've seen). This time, however, Thor will have to do it alone. His Avengers team-mates are nowhere to be seen as Earth comes under threat from an otherworldly foe yet again.
