9. Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen)
Comedians can make great writers and like the Mike Myers, the Ben Stillers of the world, Sacha Baron Cohen placed his unconventional characters into their own movies to equalling success. Borat (that title will do) was the second of the actors inventions and the best to date. His misadventures in America make for one of the funniest films around, a very satirical, apt social commentary on the worlds current state of affairs. Simply put; a quotable masterpiece from a great writer/ character actor, which has now led on to bigger roles for Cohen with Hugo and Les Miserables.
