6. Arrested Development

How could you cast Tony Hale in a major role in a Toy Story movie and not make an Arrested Development reference, right?

Well, there's one subtle but quite brilliant nod to his role as Buster Bluth on Fox's hit comedy, when his Forky is attempting to brush Gabby Gabby's hair, with the wrong side of the hairbrush no less, while quipping to himself, "Such pretty hair."

This is surely a reference to one of Arrested Development's most memorable quotes, where Buster's mother Lucille (Jessica Walters) complains that "Suddenly he's too much of a big shot to brush Mother's hair."

It certainly helps that Forky's line delivery is very Buster-like in this scene and generally throughout the film.
