TRAILER 2: JUMPER

After the hammy first trailer, comes a slightly more interesting and longer version and loaded several more times with action sequences for Doug Liman's (MR AND MRS. SMITH, THE BOURNE IDENTITY) sci-fi/adventure flick JUMPER but if you ask me, it still looks like a big budget dud.

The main problem is the feel of the movie. It doesn't look to far removed from a SPY KIDS or STORMBREAKER movie and I know it probably should feel like that because it's based on a book that follows a teenager but with a trailer that tries to accomodate for the teenage and adult market, it's a dangerous game to play. Some pretty decent special effects here but I've seen nothing of Hayden Christensen to convince me he will be able to pull this film off on his own, and his co-stars around him look to be punching one notch above their weight. That is apart from Samuel L. Jackson who has been coasting with roles like this for far too long now. Watch the trailer and come back and give us your thoughts...
