Trailer: Jim Carrey's MR POPPER'S PENGUINS P-P-P-Premieres

Was Brendan Fraser too busy for this? 90's rubber faced phenomenon (I've always wanted to write a line like that!) Jim Carrey has tried desperately to stay relevant since the turn of the century in straight roles and more grown up black comedic fare such as I Love You Philip Morris, but on this evidence it looks like he's trying to claw back some of that old magic, only the face isn't as flexible as it once was. Mr. Popper€™s Penguins is loosely based on a classic 1938 children€™s novel that concerns the life of a businessman who inherits six penguins, transforming his apartment into a winter wonderland but his work life suffers. As it would. If you're looking for a saccharine sweet flick with adorable lickle dancing penguins then watch the trailer (which in-explicibly debuted on Fandango with geographic restrictions!!) that's now on Youtube below... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z6mKTNPzyg Directed by Mark Waters (Ghost of Girlfriends Past) and starring Jim Carrey, Carla Gugino and Angela Lansbury, Mr. Popper's Penguins is released in the U.S. on June 17th and in the U.K. on August 5th by 20th Century Fox.

Neil Upton hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
