Transformers 5 Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See

5th time lucky for the robots in disguise.

UnicronSunbrow ProductionsThis week we've been dissecting Michael Bay's latest entry into the Transformers franchise, Age of Extinction, what with our list of things that sucked about it, and our extensive look at the movie's various easter eggs, gags and references. Now we've had our fun with it, it's time to look to the future, to consider what Bay's fifth Transformers movie might serve up, and how he can improve upon the heavily flawed yet inexplicably successful formula he has hammered out so far. We've opted for a mixture of common sense plot threads left up in the air at the end of Age of Extinction, fanboy characters from the cartoons we want to see, and a couple of long-shots that would nevertheless improve the viability of the franchise and breathe fresh life into it. Though we expect that Bay likely won't adhere to most of these pointers, if he even gives us just one or two of them, that'd probably be considered a sort-of-victory, and will hopefully ensure these movies stick to their rule of every odd-numbered Transformers movie being pretty good. With the ambitious open ending of Age of Extinction, Transformers 5 certainly has the potential to be most intriguing film in the series yet, but the writer of the last three films, Ehren Kruger, is presumed to be returning, so we won't get out hopes up too much. What do you want to see from Transformers 5? Got an idea for a title? Let us know in the comments!
