3. Post-Credit Scene
Paramount PicturesOne of the great treasures of contemporary Hollywood is the post-credit scene, the stinger or additional scene attached to a high number of big-budget tentpoles these days in order to tease a planned sequel or simply leave the door open for more if the movie resonates with audiences. Considering that, like those films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we know that the Transformers franchise is financially bulletproof and will keep churning films out, why not give fans something to talk about as they anticipate the next film? To date, every Transformers film except AoE has included a credits scene, albeit usually a comic relief scene thrown in mid-way through the credits, but what AoE should have done is tease the identity of the Creators and leave us avidly hankering to find out more. This is absolutely something the series needs to adopt from comic book movies and the like: make us wait for a scene at the end of the credits, and for God's sake, make it count. It keeps the audience dialogue about the film alive longer, and is generally a smart idea in the long run to keep the fan-base intrigued.
