Transformers re-released in IMAX!

So I didn't bother reviewing the Transformers. By the time it hit the U.K, it was as if that time had passed and we had all moved on from the Michael Bay bashing thing. I didn't want to bring it up again. I will say this. As someone who has never seen the original source material, let me just say I hated the movie. I thought it was ridiculous and it just kept getting more and more ridiculous as it went on. I had the same feeling I had after seeing Pearl Harbor and The Island... Michael Bay is a shit storyteller and a worthless director.

Transformers was 2 hours of the biggest garbage I think I've ever had to see through. It was painful on almost every level, although I did think Shia LaBeouf was impressive. I might review it one day but it really sucked. It sucked so bad, I couldn't even bring myself to think about the movie to review it. At this moment in time, the movie has made nearly $500 million worldwide IN PROFIT in what has been a huge success for Paramount and it comes with little surprise that news has spread of their plans to re-release the film in Imax cinema's. Cleverly, they didn't realease the film in Imax originally, so by delaying this announcement they can double dip in ticket sales. The movie will open again on September 21st, promising a whole new experience and scenes left out of the original theatrical release. If it was a whole new movie then I might be interested but please... the thought of seeing that movie again whether it's on Imax or not, makes me feel a little sick. Is anyone actually contemplating seeing this movie again on the Imax experience? source - coming soon
