11. A Transformer Killed Hitler

During Edmund Burton's aforementioned exposition dump, he essentially states that a Transformer was responsible for killing Hitler.

On Burton's grounds, Viviane comes across a Transformer disguised as a clock, held within a glass container due to its lethal potential when unleashed. Burton then makes an off-hand comment that it was responsible for Hitler's death, and quickly moves on.

To be honest, is anyone surprised that Bay couldn't resist the urge to retcon Hitler's demise and have it be at the hands of a robot assassin, no less? Expecting taste and restraint in movies like this is a fool's errand, and to be honest, this absurdity is thoroughly in step with the rest of the film.
