Hilariously, Burton even goes on to state that the likes of William Shakespeare, Harriet Tubman, Nikola Tesla, Stephen Hawking and even Shia LaBeouf's prior protagonist Sam Witwicky, were members of this collective.

Though the series has engaged with real world history in the past, with Dark of the Moon ret-conning the space race, it's altogether much weirder to suggest that Harriet freaking Tubman, civil rights extraordinaire, was helping keep the Autobots under wraps when she wasn't tackling black slavery or women's suffrage.
