Trick 'r Treat trailer

The word is the Halloween themed horror movie Trick 'r Treat will still be released this October and not early next year as previously reported by Bloody Disgusting. Good news then, I mean it's really hard to imagine this movie opening at any other time of the year. I've been intrigued by Trick 'r Treat ever since I first heard about it last November. Was it the title that caught my attention? It surely wasn't the fact that Michael Dougherty was directing, as it's his directorial debut. Was it the cast the movie put together which includes Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, Anna Paquin and Leslie Bibb? Maybe, I do like Baker and Cox. Or is it simply because it's an original horror movie THAT'S NOT A REMAKE and one that won't take itself to seriously and is just looking to have a good old fashioned slasher killing time. IESB have got the exclusive first look at the trailer for the movie, which you will have to CLICK HERE to see... as that site doesn't like to share things with anyone. The trailer is way too clunky and looks like it's not finished and been put together by a student at film school but still it's got some interesting images and like I said... it isn't taking itself too seriously. Loving Dylan Baker in this. I think he's such a great character actor and can play sinister very well indeed. Sensibly, you will be able to see this movie this October.
