14. Kathryn Hahn - Tangled
The moment that a live-action remake of Disney's animated classic Tangled was announced, countless fans suggested that the legendary Kathryn Hahn would make for a fantastic flesh-and-blood iteration of the film's villainous Mother Gothel.
After all, Hahn's fantastic performance as Agatha Harkness in both WandaVision and Agatha All Along won her a whole new legion of fans while showcasing her penchant for campy theatrics.
This all makes her a note-perfect fit for Tangled's antagonist, then, and she's simply a much, much better fit for the part than Scarlett Johansson, who was reportedly initially approached to star.
Though there are many reasons to turn your nose up at a Tangled remake, in the very least Hahn is going to get one of the biggest paydays of her career while gracing us all with what will surely be a brilliantly demented Disney villain turn.
If these live-action remakes must exist, at least they can do us the courtesy of making inspired casting choices like this.
