20 Upcoming Movies We Know NOTHING About
5. The Land of Nod
The Land of Nod is the second feature film from Skinamarink director Kyle Edward Ball, and will see Ball team with A24 for a project that's currently remaining closely guarded.
Divisive though Ball's surreal, low-fi debut was, it grossed an astonishing $2.1 million against a mere $15,000 price tag, immediately putting Ball on the map as a rising genre filmmaker to watch.
But we have no idea if Ball's film will follow the same style as his debut or opt for a more conventionally cinematic aesthetic.
In terms of its story we also haven't got a clue, though back in 2022 Ball did float two concepts he was working on - a new take on the Pied Piper legend and a film about three strangers who all see the same house in a dream.
It's entirely possible, though, that The Land of Nod is totally unrelated to either of these concepts, but as ever we'll just have to wait and see.
