20 Upcoming Movies We Know NOTHING About
13. Bucking Fastard
The title alone was probably enough to sell many on Werner Herzog's new film Bucking Fastard, which he has dubbed the conclusion of a spiritual trilogy which includes his 1982 classic Fitzcarraldo and 2005 documentary Grizzly Man.
Kate and Rooney Mara will share the screen together for the first time as Jean and Joan Holbrooke, twin sisters who are said to be so close they speak in unison, love the same man (Orlando Bloom), and even have the same dreams.
As they seek out an imaginary land where true love is possible, they begin digging through an entire mountain range.
Talk about a synopsis that tells us nothing, and yet immediately piques interest.
Funnily enough, it's actually based on the true story of British identical twin sisters Freda and Greta Chaplin, who became infamous in the 1980s for having a restraining order put out against them by a man they both became entangled with.
This certainly sounds like Herzog's most intriguingly strange and potential-rich project in quite some time, that's for sure.
