1. What Happens Next?

While Us seemingly ends on something of a "happy" ending, with the family safe from the threat of their doppelgangers and driving off into the sunset, their future isn't exactly all that hopeful. What Adelaide's going to do with the newfound knowledge that she's actually from the underground is left up in the air, as is what the Tethered are actually going to do once they've completed their Hands Across America protest.

Sure, the family is still alive, but millions of people are dead, and the world has changed forever. Sadly, there actually aren't any explanations as to what happens next; it's up to the viewer to interpret the state of the narrative after the credits.

For those not content with that answer, Jordan Peele has stated that he hasn't closed the door on a potential sequel, and there could be more stories to tell in the Us universe. Whether they'll include the Wilson family, however, is yet to be revealed.
