Jason Lee appears in the film as David's best friend Brian Shelby, and given his closeness to David it's little surprise that we see a few flashes of them hanging out together.

It's telling, though, that these images are taken from their car ride at the start of the movie where the pair are very nearly killed in a car accident.

Notably, Brian says to David, "My own death was right there, right in front of me. You know what happened? Your life flashed before my eyes."

If that's not a neat dose of foreshadowing for fans to catch on repeat viewings, what is?
