17. Tom Cruise's Home Videos

In the DVD commentary, Crowe confirms that much of the home video footage seen throughout the montage was actually kindly donated by Tom Cruise from his own personal archives, and so you are indeed seeing young Tom Cruise himself in some of the video and images.

The most indisputable images include a young Tom playing in the autumn leaves with a sibling, and a picture of him wrestling varsity at Glen Ridge High.

There may well be other glimpses of a young Cruise during the montage, though for the most part it's impossible to tell which of the very youngest children, if any, are indeed him.
