7. Eddie Gets "Unmasked"

During the climactic battle between Venom and Riot, Riot attempts to separate Venom from Eddie's body, even tearing away his "mask" and causing a world of suffering for Eddie.

This is one of the movie's few note-perfect recreations of a comic book panel, very clearly paying homage to the front cover of 1995's Venom: Carnage Unleashed #3, where Carnage (rather than Riot) pulls Venom away from Eddie.

Not-so-coincidentally, it's also one of the coolest moments in the entire movie, especially as there's minimal movement and the audience doesn't get lost in a sea of blurry, goopy CGI.
