Venom: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

8. Dr. Dan Lewis

Veep Reid Scott
HBO

Reid Scott plays Anne's (Michelle Williams) new love interest Dr. Dan Lewis, and the movie gets a few points for not going the full generic route and having him be an a**hole, or worse still, have some secret link to Carlton Drake.

He ends up just being a decent guy who wants to help Eddie out of his predicament and, honestly, is a whole let better for Anne than Eddie ever would be. Scott has a good measure of charm and he plays the middling material well, even if he's ultimately not given a whole lot to do.

He's certainly done enough to deserve a reprisal in the planned sequel, at least. He can basically be this franchise's version of Paxton (Bobby Cannavale) from Ant-Man: the surprisingly likeable partner of the female lead.
