Venom: Let There Be Carnage: 23 WTF Moments

There's perhaps no stranger sequence in the film than when Venom assumes a new host on the streets of San Francisco and his terrifying exterior gets mistaken for a rave costume.

Venom ends up caught in a crowd of revellers and follows them to a neon-soaked underground rave.

Upon entering the space, Venom heads to the stage and gives a strangely inspirational speech about being himself and getting "out of the Eddie closet," much to the delight of the evidently progressive, diverse crowd.

Of all the things we expected to see in a Venom film, the symbiote anti-hero wearing glow sticks and championing inclusion definitely wasn't one of them. And yet, it's just the right kind of goofy silliness these movies desperately need more of.
