Vera Farmiga joins UP IN THE AIR

Vera Farmiga has joined what now definitely looks like JUNO and THANK YOU FOR SMOKING director Jason Reitman's next movie UP IN THE AIR. She will play a businesswoman who develops a romantic relationship with George Clooney's character through meetings in airports and hotels around the country in the Paramount Pictures film says Variety. Clooney leads as Ryan Bingham whose single-minded goal is to accumulate one million miles in his frequent flyer account. On Friday, ROCKET SCIENCE actress Anna Kendrick beat out both Ellen Page and Emily Blunt for a substantial part in the movie. The film is based on the Walter Kirn novel which Reitman himself adapted and was to direct before he got caught up with JUNO. Shooting starts in late February in St. Louis, Miami and Las Vegas.
