WALL STREET: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS trailer!

A 90 second teaser trailer for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (23.04.10) has debuted over at IMDB. It's a little messy with an overbearing rock beat and it all kind of goes downhill after the 80's mobile phone gag, which admittedly is hilarious, but all in all - I won't get the knives out just yet. What I said on 18.01.10 still stands. Michael Douglas' reprisal of his Oscar winning "greed is good" performance is one of the must-see's of the year. I love the flashback moment he gives us when he relaxes on the couch and delivers the "call me Gordon" line. Wonderful...

If I don't mention the dialogue, Shia LaBeouf on a motorbike, the lack of the story substance - then it's probably because Oliver Stone and 20th Century Fox could never promote this kind of movie in 90 seconds. If I feel this way towards the full length trailer, then I will have to speak up but for now, Douglas and Gekko are back. No need to dig the knife in.
