13. Where Did The Snow Come From?!

As revealed in the trailer, at one point on their journey to find the Colonel, Caesar's party come across three dead soldiers, each with a single gunshot wound to their chests (though that was edited out of the trailers).

The thing that makes absolutely no sense about this is that we see the army's convoy moving pretty quickly over the terrain with the monkeys following, and then hear the executions in real time. And yet, somehow, with the monkeys hot on the trail of the convoy (they're too close if anything, since literally anyone turning round slightly would notice them if they weren't all idiots), when they find the bodies, they are buried in snow.

It's barely even snowing when the soldiers are shot, so how the hell did they end up buried?! Were they lying there already buried but alive when the army got there?
