6. Mostly Terrible Perfomances
Though Toby Kebbell's Orc Durotan steals just about every scene he's in, for the most part the human characters just can't measure up to the same level.
It doesn't help that the cast are saddled with a ropey script for the most part, but not a single human performance stands out as particularly compelling, with several proving downright bad.
The usually reliable Ben Foster is howlingly hammy as Medivh, mumbling his way through his placeholder dialogue while clearly thinking about what he'll spend his paycheck on.
Then there's Dominic Cooper, who looks tired and apparently wishes he was literally anywhere else, and Paula Patton, who as Garona Halforcen, has caught most of the flak online so far for her fairly wooden performance.
It takes an impressive kind of awful to wring such uninspired, even actively awful work in some cases, out of such a talented cast.
