5. The Plot Doesn't Make You Care

OK, you€™re already overwhelmed by the world we€™re in, but maybe you can plug your ears to the noise and just enjoy the story at hand. Eh, not quite€

The broad scope of the plot is easy enough to follow because it€™s motivated by character decisions rather than intangible powers, but the characters are so uninteresting and their decisions so confusing - either rooted in that vague mythology or relying on random coincidence - that you€™re lost again.

You€™ll sit through action sequences but be distracted by trying to figure out how portals and fels and guardians all fit into why this orc is saving that human he€™s never met and... There were entire scenes where I had no idea what was going on and it was incredibly hard to not just give up.
