We all know where the Abbie Cornish Bond rumors came from, why don't her reps?

Abbie Cornish doesn't feel like a Bond girl to me. She's too geeky, too lovable in a cute way. She's not sassy or feisty or Eva Green for that matter. I know it's hard to top Green but Cornish isn't the one for me. Cornishs' reps have shot down those reports last week that she had already got the Bond girl job in the currently untitled next 007 film. The following comes from the Sunday Morning Herald...

"No, I can tell you that that information is not accurate," her agent Belinda Maxwell said today. She said she had no idea where the false reports were coming from.... "
I can reiterate that that's not accurate information." Well we all know where it came from. It was her Aussie actress friend Rose Bryne who spilled the news to MTV. OK, maybe she was doing Cornish a favour and she may very well have added her to the Bond girl mix right now but this wasn't a rumor that we started. Eva Green showed a Bond girl who could stand toe to toe with the personality of Bond, especially the one projected by the "Man God" Daniel Craig and it worked. It really worked. She was the most interesting Bond girl there's been since the 70's and the only one that conjured up an emotional reaction to the viewer at the end. They need to keep with this direction and sadly for Cornish, she just doesn't have it. source - moviehole
