What Does Spider-Man: Far From Home's Trailer Mean For Avengers: Endgame?

1. What Happens To Tony?

So, Pepper survives and writes the cheque for the homeless charity function. Happy survives and serves as something of a mentor figure for Peter. Nick Fury comes back from the dead, and also aids Peter, pushing him into a new challenge.

All of this begs the question, where is Tony Stark?

He was looking in serious peril in the Avengers: Endgame trailer, but will be making it back to Earth safely one way or another. But he's nowhere to be seen or heard of here, and is conspicuous by his absence. When Happy's speaking on what is presumably a Stark plane, he talks about being alone, which could be a reference to Tony being gone. Maybe it's all fairly innocuous, and he's just happily retired from superhero life, which is why he's now refusing to get involved. Maybe he's injured and physically can't. Or maybe, of course, he dies in Endgame.
