What Does The Ending Of Black Panther Really Mean?

7. Courting More Enemies?

There's a problem with opening your secrets out to the world, and T'Challa need only ask Tony Stark about it. In the wake of his "I am Iron Man moment" - which was essentially what the UN press conference at the end of Black Panther was, T'Challa has put a target on Wakanda.

As soon as powerful enemies learn of the resources and the technology available in the nation, they're going to start attacking, and just as Stark's rise to power saw the likes of Justin Hammer and Aldrich KIllian rise as envious rivals, so too will T'Challa see enemies appear to balance his presence.

Where there was Klaue, there will be more like him. It was easy to brush him aside as a single crazed conspiracy theorist, but the minute you confirm the existence of El Dorado, you feed the imaginations and greed of hundreds of potential enemies.
