What Marvel's Black Panther Cast Look Like In The Comics
2. Shuri
In The Comics:
A strong and beautiful princess of Wakanda, Shuri is T'Challa's younger half sister and the first female Black Panther in history, trained by T'Challa himself to fight. When he fell into a coma, she took his place as Black Panther.
She was once forced into a state of living death, where she made her way to the Djalia, a plane representing Wakanda's collective memory, and came out of it with the title of Aja-Adanna, Wakanda's true keeper of lore, with the clearest knowledge of its past and present.
In The Film:
With a genius level intellect that rivals even Tony Stark, Shuri is T'Challa's irreverent but loving little sister, who invented many of Wakanda's greatest technological achievements, even at the young age of sixteen.
She improved on the Black Panther's suit, set her brother up with the best tech, and helped him on missions. During Killmonger's attack, she and the other women of Wakanda fought hard to win back their country.
Played by Letitia Wright, Shuri is everybody's favourite, a meme-loving, spunky teen who humanises T'Challa the most out of all the other characters. Here's hoping to see her match minds with Tony Stark for Infinity War.
