What The Nightmare Before Christmas Voice Actors Look Like In Real Life

3. Oogie Boogie - Ken Page

Nightmare Before Christmas
Disney/Above Deck Entertainment

Now for the main villain of the piece, Oogie Boogie.

The "meanest guy around" has Jack Skellington on his "Boogie List" in the movie, and doesn't seem to like much more than making people's life a misery or gambling.

This larger-than-life rogue, on paper, is a burlap sack with a booming voice. Now, that description definitely minimises Oogie Boogie's impact, which is felt in full force when said sack unravels to reveal worms, maggots and other creepy-crawlies making up his entire person.

The boisterous villain comes to life with a song celebrating his sadism, performed by the wonderful Ken Page.

Page, like Greg Proops, also tours with his The Nightmare Before Christmas castmates. While Ken is definitely best known for his performance in The Nightmare Before Christmas, he's also known for appearances in Dreamgirls, All Dogs Go To Heaven, and Torch Song Trilogy.
