What Your Favourite Lord Of The Rings Movie Says About You

1. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)

The Movie: Fellowship sees us being brought up to speed with the happenings in Middle Earth. The Dark Lord Sauron made forged rings of power for the leaders of Men, Dwarves and Elves; but in secret, he created one to rule them all. He is defeated and the ring is lost for centuries, before finding its way in to the hand of a hobbit: Frodo Baggins, via his uncle Bilbo. Frodo is tasked with taking the ring back to the fiery chasm from whence it came: the ominous sounding Mount Doom, located in the barren wasteland of Mordor, a place one does not simply walk in to. To help him, a group €“ known as the fellowship €“ is assembled: hobbits Sam, Merry and Pippin, the great wizard Gandalf the Grey, two men Aragorn and Boromir, Legolas the elf, and Gimli the dwarf. What It Says About You: You enjoy the chance to firmly establish your surroundings, to get a feel for new places. A fan of history and other cultures, you€™re also partial to a few monologues and motivational speeches. You enjoy meeting new people, hill walking, mine exploration and second breakfasts. You€™re often the first to volunteer willingly for a potentially dangerous road trip and you can count on your friends to quickly volunteer alongside you. You are in turn willing to do anything for them: be it fall off a bridge; take an arrow to the chest; chase captors over hills and vast open plains, or rush into deep water when you know you can€™t swim. A word of caution, beware of strange black-cloak wearing horse riders. There€™s a chance you could accidentally-on-purpose slip on an invisibility ring of power and end up on the wrong end of a sharp blade. But that€™s worse-case scenario, obviously. Soundbite: €œI€™m a big fan of Gandalf€™s early work, you know, back when he was Gandalf the Grey.€ Favourite Movies: Star Wars, Batman Begins, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
