WhatCulture Cannes Coverage - Starts May 13th

From reviews of all the in-competition films to a look at what it's really like down on la Croisette, we'll be bringing you a wide range of exclusives, features and videos from the centre of the action. Kicking off with La TĂȘte Haute, the first film directed by a woman to open the festival since 1987, this is a year full of progressive and exciting movies. The highlights of those In Competition for the Palme d'Or include Sicario (from Prisoners and Enemy director Denis Villeneuve), Macbeth (Justin Kurzel's Shakespeare adaptation starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard) and The Sea Of Trees (which sees Gus van Sant team up with Matthew McConaughey). Who will bag the coveted golden leaf won't be revealed until May 24th, but we'll make sure you're up to date with every development in the competition. There's also some very interesting, high profile out of competition films too, including the world premieres of Mad Max: Fury Road, Pixar's latest Inside Out and Woody Allen's new film, Irrational Man.
