Whatever you might read... KABOOM is awesome

You will probably come back to Obsessed With Film in the next few days to find a review from Matt absolutely slating Kaboom. But fear not, as Kaboom is awesome. Kaboom is the most outrageously ridiculous thing you are likely to see (probably on DVD, rather than in the cinema)... The plot is beyond description and you'll not be sure whether to laugh with or at the movie - but I promise, you'll love it. If you are looking for a review of the movie then look elsewhere, as I couldn't possibly begin to piece together this chaotic piece of cinema. Instead, here is a selection of quotes from around the web... Simon Gallagher @ HeyUGuys says:

KABOOM may be the oddest cinematic experience of my life. I enjoyed it, but it was definitely total bollocks.
TotalFilm Magazine says:
Greg Araki's Kaboom: teen sexcom cum mock-alyptic conspiracy thriller. Daft horny fun.
LoveFilm (some DVD rental company in the UK) says:
Typically colourful offering from Greg Araki. Buffy meets The OC but with more sex, drugs and genral mentalness
Some bloke called Matt Noller (probably famous, but I can't be bothered to find out who he is) says:
Kaboom (10 Araki Drawing of a Banana in a Pirate Hat): An insane, delirious, hysterical anarchist blast. Basically perfect on its own terms.
