3. Robocop (Accurate)
In a dystopian Detroit, a tech corporation makes a deal with the city to take over control of its law enforcement. First, the corporation designs an automated police robot, but in its first demonstration it brutally murders someone, so they move onto Plan B, which is to take a dead cop, bring him back to life, turn him into a cyborg and walah, you have yourself a Robocop!
For clarification, Alex Murphy, the man inside of Robocop, still has some remnants of his old brain, but he is mostly AI.
Why It’s Accurate
It should be no surprise that with the coming wave of AI being implemented into our daily lives, one huge industry that is working on this is law enforcement. The city of Dubai is already using robot patrolman. Their main uses are as roving peacekeepers, and they are not armed.
They have touchpads on their chests that civilians can use to report crimes and they are equipped with cameras to keep their sectors under 24-hour surveillance. One thing they are definitely not are reanimated corpses of dead cops.
