The magnificently crafted multiverse crossover film saw Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Thomas Haden Church, Jamie Foxx and Rhys Ifans reprise their iconic roles of yesteryear as all the previous Spider-Man villains from the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield universes teamed up for one nostalgic filled fun ride.
The greatness found in Spider-Man: No Way Home may well have been in its ingenious depiction of a Peter Parker who was trying to cure the ailments of each Spider-Man villain. Believing they could be cured of what drove them to be villainous by fixing the underlying cause of their pain, Spider-Man: No Way Home was easily the most mature of all the web-slinging films to date and it would be well worthy of discussion for Best Picture nominations come the Oscar season in the forthcoming weeks.
