Which Suicide Squad Movie Is Better?

1. Overall

Suicide Squad
Warner Bros.

If you've been keeping score at home, the winner should be pretty obvious - winning in nine of our 10 categories, James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is the easy victor.

Though it's a shame we'll probably never see David Ayer's original intended vision of the 2016 film brought to the big screen - Warner Bros. has already rubbished the #ReleaseTheAyerCut campaign - it's not particularly convincing from the material we've seen that it was ever going to be a great movie.

Gunn's film conversely feels like a fresh air, improving upon the bungled 2016 effort in practically every way, and providing a welcome do-over for an IP which really should've been a slam dunk the first time.

Simply, walk don't run to see The Suicide Squad, because it's one of the most exciting and unpredictable superhero movies in years.
