Who Does Brett Easton Ellis Want As Patrick Bateman For AMERICAN PSYCHO Remake?

Author says he won't approve a new version of his novel unless it stars Scott Disick or Miles Fisher!

Is author Brett Easton Ellis as pissed as we are that Lionsgate are developing a quick cash-grab remake of his most famous satirical novel American Psycho, a decade after Mary Harron's damn near perfect adaptation? Actually, it doesn't sound like it. He said on Twitter after the news broke late last week;
"just heard there doin a remake of American Psycho!... I have warned Lionsgate that I will not approve a new version of 'American Psycho' unless it stars SCOTT DISICK or MILES FISHER."
He doesn't sound too upset then does he? Maybe he's looking forward to the royalties the new movie will bring to him. So who are Scott Disick and Miles Fisher then you ask? Well Disick is best known as a villain boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian on the reality tv show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" (yeah that went over our head too) but a quick look on Google Images suggest he does cut a Patrick Bateman esque look when required. Actually he looks an awful lot like Paul Allen (Jared Leto) in the movie! After hearing of Ellis' endorsement, Disick wrote on Twitter himself "Best news I have ever heard! I hope they call me!" Meanwhile, Miles Fisher is an an interesting candidate indeed. He has appeared in Final Destination 5, Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar and also as impersonating Tom Cruise in Superhero Movie. However, why Ellis has probably mentioned him is because of his scenes in his butchering of Talking Heads' "This Must Be The Place" cover music video where he re-enacts much of American Psycho! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=G29d6RDSK1c Do either of these candidates do it for you then? From the image above Disick certainly has the look but then Lionsgate are looking to do a contemporary version of Bateman in modern day New York, so the 80's pinstripe has to go....
