Who Framed Roger Rabbit: 13 Easter Eggs & References You Probably Missed

5. Murders On The Disorient Express

You have to freeze-frame to see this, but the Toonzoomer No.1 train that rams Judge Doom’s dipmobile just after it goes through the Acme Factory wall appears to be the scene of multiple murders or attempted murders in progress. This is possibly a reference to the book and film adaptation of Murder On the Orient Express. Peek in each train car window and you'll witness the following.

Car 1: a chicken holds up a bottle to a figure holding a glass, a witch holds up a broom, a man with his hands in the air next to some animal, and what appears to be Stan Laurel strangling Oliver Hardy.

Car 2: a person who's been hung, a man with his hands up as another man holds a gun on him, someone with a feathered headdress holding up a tomahawk to what might be a wolf, and what might be a woman fleeing.

Car 3: an old man holds up a cane to another person, a vulture faces a man holding up a glass, someone holds what could be a spear in front of a rabbit.

And the silhouette of Piglet in his scarf from the short Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (1968) can be spotted hanging onto the rail at the very end of the train.
