Who is directing VOLTRON?

No really, who is he?

Latino Review have announced that Max Makowski will helm Voltron, the robot movie from Relativity Media which is their answer to Paramount's Transformers, though it will be shot "300 green screen style" and won't be as epic. Who is Makowski you might well ask. Well if I tell you he directed a 2005 movie by the name of One Last Dance, a Nick Stahl movie in 2002 titled Taboo and was co-screenwriter on a currently undeveloped adaptation of Hawaii Five-O, would that help? Probably not. Here is his photo anyway...

As with any 80's geek adaptation, the script was written by Justin Marks who has undoubtedly had the time of his life in the past year with his scripts for Super Max (that Green Arrow in Prison movie), He-Man, Hack/Slash and Street Fighter all being picked up for movies.

Latino Review have heard this Makowski has got a very distinct visual style and is the next Zack Snyder. That's good news if your like me and enjoyed 300 and Dawn of the Dead!
