4. Logan
While one of the more modern graphic novels (being published in 2008), Logan easily stands out in the character's history as a great adventure. The narrative follows the infamous House of M storyline which saw the mental breakdown of the Scarlet Witch and her ultimate initiation of M-Day, or the depowering of 90% of the world's mutants. While Wolverine is (obviously) spared from the attack, a side effect sees his memories returning to him, thus leading to Wolverine returning to Japan to settle some old scores, all while experiencing flashbacks to his time as an American soldier in Imperial Japan. With Days of Future Past more than likely going to reset (or at least change) the X-Men timeline to fix all the plot inconsistencies created by Origins and First Class, we could definitely see Wolverine regaining his memories as James Howlett and perhaps return to Japan for some undisclosed reason not directly shown in The Wolverine. Plus, who wouldn't want to see a flashback of Wolverine getting nuked?
