If they want
Wolverine out by next year, then 20th Century Fox are going to have to get a move on with this thing.. it's June 07 already and a director hasn't been found. Well maybe until today...
IESB are reporting that
Disturbia helmer
D.J. Caruso has been offered the gig of directing Wolverine. Caruso's last film, the unofficial
Rear Window remake went down well not just with critics but audiences too and it has become one of the surprise hits of the year. Caruso is currently in talks with Dreamworks on an unnamed project, so if he can't do Wolverine (which if he has any % of comic geek in him, he no doubt will do it) their back up plan is to go with
Len Wiseman!!!! Yes the guy who is helming the new
Die Hard movie. Like I say if they are serious about making this thing, then it's going to have to begin production soon. Personally, I would have gone for a thriller director for this project which should be dark and gritty as hell. Just don't go with Wiseman.
