4. The Fastball Special X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
Although The Fastball Special was one of Wolverines signature moves in the comic books, we dont get to see this impressive feat until X-Men: The Last Stand. But by the time he gets to team up with Colossus, it makes for quite a stunning scene. We follow the X-Men as they battle their way through the rubble of a seemingly dystopian future, facing a terrifying menace that had (at this point) only appeared in the comic books; The Sentinels. Enormous, robotic machines capable of nullifying a mutants powers, theyre tasked with hunting down the X-Men with extreme prejudice even if this is only part of an elaborate training simulation. Nevertheless, Wolverine takes his classes very seriously. And when the X-Men find themselves backed into a corner, he teams up with Colossus to initiate their infamous move known as The Fastball Special. Picking Wolverine up, Colossus hurls him towards the Sentinel. And after making quick work of his robotic foe, Wolverine appears from behind the Sentinels severed head.
