9. No Man's Land

Wonder Woman making her way across No Man's Land is the standout action set-piece of the film, and one of the biggest highlights of the entire movie. It's a stunning sequence with some epic action, and the whole thing just leaves you sitting there, slightly awed, wondering WTF is going on and what'll happen next.

Diana dodges bullets, blocks them with her bracelets, utilises her shield, and basically just stands as the baddest of asses, her colourful Wonder Woman costume juxtaposed with the brown and green hues of the battlefield, the flying of the bullets contrasted with the jumping around of the Amazon - combinations that easily could've been too jarring, and yet somehow manage to work here.

There is also a brief moment when she first stands up that it's a bit too obviously green-screened, but the majority of it is so excellent it's hard to even notice.
