Wonder Woman Trailer 2: 10 Things You Probably Missed

Wondering what you missed?

Wonder Woman Close Up
Warner Bros.

It's been a tumultuous year for Warner Brothers with both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad taking in vast amounts at the box office whilst receiving a critical drumming. With that in mind Wonder Woman has a lot resting on those shoulders with her first solo outing in June 2017.

The world finally seems ready for this film and after a week of teasing from director Patty Jenkins, today saw the release of the second official trailer for the next highly anticipated instalment in the DC Cinematic Universe. Although it's certainly a more story driven trailer than the first, there's still a lot of incredible action throughout highlighting the unique World War I setting.

With expectations for this movie at an all time high, it's pretty easy to get caught up and miss some of the intricate details peppered throughout this exciting trailer.

On that note, let's take a look at what you may have missed....

10. We Open With The End

Dr Poison Wonder Woman
Warner Bros.

"I used to want to save the world. This beautiful place. But the closer you get, the more you see the great darkness within. I learnt this the hard way a long, long time ago."

Whilst the footage at the beginning of the trailer portrays a youthfully vibrant and optimistic Diana, the dialogue over these images paints a very different picture.

Batman v Superman saw a Wonder Woman at odds with mans world with many hints that her last foray out of Tthemyscira only ended in death, chaos and heartbreak. Her dialogue at the beginning of this trailer is surely from the latter stages of the film, providing us with the background as to just why she was so reluctant to protect man's world once again at the end of Dawn of Justice.
