X-Men: Apocalypse - 10 Characters Who Need To Come Back
4. Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler, aside from having one of the greatest mutant abilities ever, is one of the most famous and well-loved mutants in the X-Men world. Excellently portrayed by Alan Cumming in X-2, Nightcrawler has been noticeably absent since that film, having not been seen since. Curiously, Bryan Singer stated before the release of Days Of Future Past that he wanted to include Nightcrawler in the film, but opted not to feature him because he didn't want the film to feel like he was shoehorning in as many mutants as possible. Considering Singer's statement, here's betting there's a high chance that the character could feature in Apocalypse, and with Mystique due to be much older during the events of the film, Singer could easily introduce the character as her son - one of the many origin stories for the character. Unlike his comic book counterpart, Singer's version of the character had blue skin rather than fur, so it'll be interesting to see how different the director makes him from X-2 if he does decide to bring the teleporting mutant back.
